Biography

Hunter H. Wu (S’05, M’10) received the B.E. degree (Hons), and Ph.D degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand, in 2008 and 2010, respectively.

Since 2010, he has been working as a research scientist at the Energy Dynamics Laboratory, Utah State University Research Foundation. Dr. Wu is also an Assistant Research Professor at Utah State University.

Dr. Wu has published over a dozen technical papers, won an IEEE-ICIEA best paper award and filed over half a dozen patents. His research interests include resonant converters and inductive power transfer. Currently, he works in high power inductive charging of electric vehicles and buses.
