Allon Echols is currently an undergraduate electrical engineering student at Utah State University (USU). He has been working with the USU Power Electronics Laboratory(UPEL) for almost two years. During his time at UPEL, Allon has worked on several projects including vehicle misalignment detection, optimization of dynamic wireless power transfer pads, and communication for a dynamic wireless power transfer system. Along with this, Allon has taken classes in controls and microcontrollers and will be taking mechatronics. Allon has also had experience in PCB design and manufacturing, software algorithms, digital signal processing, circuit design and analysis, control design and analysis, EM simulating, and CAD modeling.
