Anindya Ray joined UPEL in Fall 2015 as a doctoral Student under the guidance of Dr. Regan Zane. His research interest focuses on power converters for electric vehicle, wind drive systems and active filtering techniques for grid improvement.
Anindya received his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Bengal Engineering and Science University,Shibpur,India in 2010. He obtained his masters degree in Machine drives and Power Electronics from the department of Electrical Enginnering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2013. From 2010 to 2011, he has worked as an Electrical Engineer at M.N.Dastur and Co., designing power distribution system for steel plants. From 2013 to 2015, he has with Powergrid India involved in real time grid management system.
