Warren Chen is a PhD Candidate at Utah State University Power Electronics Lab. His PhD research focuses on bidirectional power converter design for both traditional and emerging applications such as electric vehicles and grid-integration of energy storage and sources. Prior to his PhD studies, he has worked as a power electronics engineer developing products such as switched-mode power supplies and class-D audio amplifiers. He holds a BSEE and a MSEE both from the University of California, Irvine. Warren is a member of the IEEE and engineering honor societies Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi.
